Covid-19 Patient Vaccinations Begin – Staff and Patients Filled with Hope

Dear Friends,

Thanks to our incredible staff, health department partners, and many other supporters, we have begun the work of vaccinating our existing patients who are over the age of 65 or who are frontline essential workers. As you know, our patients come from marginalized communities and have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Watching them receive their vaccine has been immensely gratifying. It is critical that they continue to be included in the vaccine roll out.

Thanks to our partnership with our local health departments and Inova Health System, we have also been able to vaccinate our staff against COVID-19.

At this time we are only vaccinating existing Neighborhood Health patients who are over the age of 65 or who are frontline essential workers in accordance with public health guidelines. As vaccine becomes more available, we will expand our scope.

Your continued commitment and support allow us to be here for our low-income and uninsured neighbors when they need us the most.
