Pumps for Moms

For a mother who needs a breast pump, being able to take one home from her baby’s newborn visit can make a big difference.

Through Neighborhood Health’s partnership with Pumps for Mom, eligible pregnant and nursing mothers can receive an insurance-covered breast pump right in the clinic. Having pumps available during appointments helps mothers who had difficulty obtaining one during pregnancy or whose housing situation makes deliveries challenging.

For nearly two years, this partnership has helped our team address a practical need while families are already in the clinic for care.

For our supporters, it is another example of how Neighborhood Health helps families overcome everyday barriers to better health. Sometimes, that means making sure a new mother leaves her appointment with the supplies she needs.
