Neighborhood Health’s CEO Co-Authors Article Featured in Health Affairs
Dr. Basim Khan, CEO and primary care physician at Neighborhood Health, co-authored an article about the current state of community health center funding that was featured in Health Affairs magazine.
“Over 1,400 community health centers (CHCs) working in 15,000 rural and urban communities and serving over 30 million people are awaiting congressional action around the Community Health Center Fund. … No community health center better illustrates this funding reality or the urgency of final action than Neighborhood Health, on the other side of the Potomac River from the White House and Capitol Hill.”
