Please note that due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the need to protect staff and patients, we have made the following changes. If you have any questions, please call (703) 535-5568.
Medical and Behavioral Health Visits: Our medical and behavioral health visits are being conducted mostly by phone and video, not in person. Please call us if you need an appointment.
COVID-19 Testing: COVID-19 testing is available by appointment only for both existing and new patients. Existing patients, with or without symptoms, should call (703) 535-5568 to request a testing appointment. New patients should call (703) 535-5568 to make an appointment for a telemedicine visit and request a testing appointment. Please do not come for testing without an appointment. COVID-19 testing is free for uninsured patients. Testing costs are covered by Medicaid, Medicare and all health insurance, including group plans and individual health plans.
New Patients: We continue to accept new patients for telemedicine visits. This includes patients with COVID-19 symptoms.
Walk-In Visits: At this time, we are unable to accept walk-in visits. Please call us to schedule an appointment instead
Routine Visits: At this time, we are only scheduling in-person medical visits for well-child exams for children ages 0 to 4, pregnant women in our prenatal program, and select family planning procedures. Routine physicals, well-woman exams, and well child exams for children above the age of 4 are generally being delayed at this point. If you are a Neighborhood Health patient and need a vaccination, please call us to schedule an appointment.
Dental Care: Routine dental visits are being postponed until further notice. If you are an existing Neighborhood Health patient and have an urgent dental need, please call us for a teledentistry evaluation.
Clinic Procedures: We are taking precautions to keep patients and staff safe. We conduct a temperature check and symptoms screen for everyone entering our offices. If you have a clinic appointment, please come alone or bring only one other person.
Support Services: Eligibility, Medicaid enrollment, and case management are being provided by phone.
Closed Facilities: Our medical clinics at the Arlington Community Services Board (CSB), Alexandria CSB, and Gartlan CSB are closed. Services are being provided via telemedicine. Call our main line for an appointment.
Pharmacy Programs: Our pharmacy programs are still operational at our open clinics. Please phone ahead of time to arrange for your medication pick-up.
Staying Safe: Please continue to follow guidelines for staying safe, especially in public places. Wear a mask, keep 6 feet distance from others outside of your home, and wash your hands, for at least 20 seconds, frequently.
