Community Partnerships: Increasing Access to Vaccines and Testing
Neighborhood Health engaged with over 150 community partners to make sure COVID vaccines and home test kits were available to all. Partner organizations referred tens of thousands of people for vaccines, hosted vaccine clinics, invited our communications team to present to their clients, put up flyers, provided incentives to encourage vaccine uptake, and distributed thousands of at-home test kits.

Some of our members were skeptical, and even fearful about getting the vaccine. Others in our community faced obstacles regarding transportation or language barriers. This partnership showcased the best of great unions: a shared mission, people committed to that vision, with hearts to serve some of our most vulnerable citizens.
