Megan Prior, MD

Dr. Prior is a board certified pediatrician who was born in Alexandria, VA and grew up in San Diego, CA. She attended Pomona College where she studied anthropology and neuroscience. After living in Guatemala to learn Spanish, she went to medical school at Georgetown University. Dr. Prior spent a year advocating for teenagers with the National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health and her work on transitioning to adult health care was published in Pediatrics. She completed her pediatric residency with the University of Washington at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Prior now returns to Virginia to work in a clinic less than a mile away from the home that she was born in. She loved her childhood, and wants all kids to be healthy enough to experience plenty of joy, curiosity and adventure. When not at clinic, she’s most likely exploring a park with her husband and Labrador.
